HOW GOOD DOES MY CREDIT SCORE NEED TO BE?
It depends. We look at a variety of factors when it comes to your credit score, and application including payment history, criminal history, medical collections, age of applicant, date of collections, work history, current employment and monthly income.
CAN THE SECURITY DEPOSIT BE PAID OVER A FEW MONTHS?
Generally the Security Deposit must be paid before you can move in. If you have good credit or a co-signer, we may be able to break it down into two monthly payments.
WHICH APPLIANCES ARE INCLUDED?
You have a refrigerator with an ice-maker, stove, microwave, garbage disposal, dishwasher, and washer and dryer in each apartment. We do have a few apartments that do not have a dishwasher but instead have an extra bank of drawers in the kitchen. For appliances included in houses, see individual house descriptions.
WHICH UTILITIES ARE INCLUDED WITH THE RENT?
In our apartments we pay sewer and trash. Residents are responsible for gas and electric and water bills, plus cable and telephone if they choose to have them. In our duplexes, the renter pays for all utilities including water, sewer and trash. Houses- utilities are all paid by tenant.
DO YOU HAVE AN ALL UTILITIES INCLUDED OPTION?
In our apartments, we offer a utility package. For a 2 bedroom the package is an extra $250/month. This would cover your water, gas and electric. It is limited to a $175 cap on gas and electric combined. Our 3 bedroom apartments are an extra $275 with a cap of $200 on gas and electric combined. This saves you the deposit fees charged by the utility companies.
DO YOU HAVE ANY RENTAL ASSISTANCE? DO YOU ACCEPT HUD?
We do not provide or facilitate rental assistance, but we're not too picky about how your rent gets paid, as long as it gets paid. We do accept HUD, but you must still have good credit to qualify. On the other side of that, we don't have income limits either- you can make as much as you want and still live there. Houses are per owner's specification.
DO YOU ALLOW PETS?
We do allow small pets with a completely refundable $200-$400 pet fee. This must be paid BEFORE the pet lives with you. Please see the Rules and Regulations for more details . Houses are per owner specifications.
WHAT IS THE SQUARE FOOTAGE OF YOUR APARTMENTS?
The two bedrooms/one bath at North Star Apartments are approximately 775sq. feet. The three bedrooms/two bath at North Star Apartments Apartments are approximately 1064 sq. feet. The two bedroom/two bath at Paige Apartments are approximately 960 sq. feet. Our Townhouses are 2 bedroom 1.5 bathroom at approximately 1122 sq feet. .
